Now that GO Trains are rolling through Guelph, there was a needed to add Guelph Transit service due buses not leaving enough time to get to the GO Train each morning.

The existing service did not leave anytime to get to the train station, buy a ticket and board the first morning train at 6:14am. With the new shuttle service, GO riders can park their car in select locations, and catch the bus downtown right across from the GO platform with plenty of time to buy tickets and passes.

The bonus is GO riders, by showing any GO ticket for that days trip (1 ride, 2 ride, 10 ride, monthly and student) only have to pay 60 cents (that is right only 60 cents!)  to get to the train station and another 60 cents to get back home at night. If a GO rider has a monthly pass, starting on February 1st, they can purchase a $18.00 Guelph Transit Monthly pass sticker to stick on your GO monthly pass and ride Guelph Transit anytime all month long. (This includes weekends and holidays!) Now that is a deal.

So park your car at home, forget the traffic on the 401, get on the city bus GO shuttle and get to work easier and cheaper then ever before.
